SKUs that never repeat
Strooply can generate a SKU for each item that is unique within your account, or you can type your own. Not tied to a plan.
Strooply keeps the cost, storage location, SKU and listing age for every one-of-a-kind item you resell. It tracks single pieces, not stock quantities.

Each item carries what you paid and a storage location you name, such as a bin or shelf, in the app and the web portal.

Each inventory item can carry these fields next to its photos and listing details:

When Strooply generates a SKU it uses the format PREFIX-DDMMMYY-NN, where the prefix is optional. DDMMMYY is the date in your account's time zone, and NN is a counter that runs per day, so 06SEP26-01 is the first item that day and 06SEP26-02 the second. A SKU is unique within your account, and the optional prefix can be up to 30 characters. SKU generation is not tied to a paid plan.
For ideas on turning a prefix into a bin or shelf code, and for how to find a listing by SKU in Seller Hub, read how to organize eBay inventory with SKUs, bins and locations.
Two fields do most of the work when a sale comes in. The storage location tells you which bin or shelf to walk to. A SKU prefix that matches that bin gives the listing itself a clue, so you do not need a separate spreadsheet to look it up. Storage location is plain text, not a structured bin system: Strooply does not model aisles, shelves and containers as separate levels, and it does not print labels or scan bin codes.
Inventory is split into Active, Sold, and Unlisted views. Unlisted holds items you have researched or drafted but not listed. These three views are in both the app and the web portal. The app also has a Supplies view for packing materials, and supplies inventory is included on every plan.
The inventory aging report groups your active eBay listings by how long they have been listed: 0 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, 91 to 180, 181 to 365, and over 365 days. Listings at 181 days or more count as stale. When five or more listings are stale, the Inventory screen shows a callout so you can decide whether to reprice, relist, or move them.
The aging report is included on Starter, Pro, and Team plans. It is in the app only, not in the web portal, it covers active eBay listings, and the report reads at most 5,000 rows.
If you photograph something you already researched, Strooply checks the new capture against your unlisted items and drafts. It compares UPC, title, brand, category, and the image. When it finds a likely match it asks you, and you choose "Yes, merge" or "Not the same". The match is a suggestion and the decision stays with you. Unlisted match works in the app only and is available on every plan.
When you buy several items for one price, Strooply can split that cost evenly across the linked items in the lot that are not yet listed or sold. The split is even, not weighted by each item's value. Lot allocation is included on Pro and Team plans. For the pricing side, see selling lots on eBay: pricing and cost, and for receipts with mixed items see splitting a receipt across items.
Most tools that show up for "eBay inventory management" are built to keep quantities of identical products in step across several sales channels. That fits a seller who restocks the same item by the case. A reseller usually has the opposite problem: every item is a single piece, bought at its own price, from its own place, and stored on its own shelf.
For that kind of stock the useful questions are different. What did I pay for this? Where did I put it? How long has it been listed? Did I already photograph this one? Strooply is built around those questions. It does not sync stock quantities across other marketplaces, and this page does not suggest otherwise.
The number of active listings depends on your plan: 200 on Free, 1.5k on Starter, 5k on Pro, and ∞ on Team. The inventory aging report is on Starter, Pro, and Team plans, and lot allocation is on Pro and Team plans. SKUs, storage location, the Active, Sold and Unlisted views, and unlisted match are not gated by plan.
To be clear about scope: Strooply does not sync stock quantities across sales channels, storage location is a text field rather than a bin system, and the aging report is not in the web portal. Compare your own needs with that list before you choose a tool. The feature guide shows the rest of the workflow, and the eBay fee and profit calculator covers the arithmetic of what an item nets.

Supplies have their own view in the app, so packing materials stay apart from items for sale. Read the supplies guide for what to stock.
