Is the item worth buying?
Use sold comps and sell-through data while sourcing, before money is tied up in inventory.
A detailed look at photo research, sold comps, AI drafts, receipts, lots, inventory, publishing, and financial reporting.
Strooply is designed around the full reseller lifecycle, not only listing creation.
You take or select photos, and Strooply uses vision AI to suggest the product identity, brand, model, category, and useful listing details. You can correct the result before saving anything. Clear photos of labels, packaging, signatures, model numbers, and condition details give the strongest evidence.
After identifying the item, Strooply searches recent eBay market results and surfaces sold prices, recent sales count, and sell-through information. AI-assisted filtering helps remove visually or descriptively weak matches, but you remain in control of the price decision.
Yes. You can research public market data and save drafts before connecting eBay. Seller-only actions such as publishing and syncing your account require an eBay connection.
Strooply can generate a title, description, category, condition guidance, pricing context, and eBay item specifics from the photos and research. The draft remains editable and does not publish until you review and confirm it.
No. The seller reviews the draft and explicitly confirms before it goes live. Strooply then uses eBay's official API to upload photos, create the offer, apply the seller's policies, and publish it.
Receipt OCR extracts the merchant, date, totals, and line items. You can link receipt lines to inventory so acquisition cost becomes COGS when the item sells. If a receipt contains contradictory totals or discounts, Strooply asks for review instead of inventing an allocation.
A combined purchase cost can be assigned to a lot and allocated across its sellable quantity. When part of that quantity sells, Strooply applies the corresponding per-unit cost instead of deducting the entire lot from one sale.
Strooply accounts for inventory cost, eBay transaction fees, promoted listing fees, shipping labels, other order fees, buyer refunds, and return shipping. Once eBay posts the payout, the actual payout is used as the proceeds base.
Return and refund costs remain attached to the sale cycle. If the physical item is relisted and sells again, Strooply can combine the cycles so lifetime profit reflects both the loss from the return and the later sale.
Yes. Inventory can be assigned to locations so you can find an item after it sells. Sourcing trips can also group store stops, purchases, receipts, and mileage.
Strooply supports consignor assignments, payout tracking, and multi-user organizations. Owners and listers can share the same operational system while sensitive financial and account controls remain role-aware.
Reports connect sold items with revenue, fees, shipping, COGS, profit, sourcing performance, and other operating costs. The goal is to show what actually remained, not only the headline sale price.
Yes. Research and photograph inventory on iPhone or Android while sourcing, then continue from the web portal when a larger screen is more convenient. Data is shared through the same account.
No. Strooply is an independent reseller application. It connects through eBay's official OAuth and API systems, and eBay remains the marketplace and account provider.
