Draft from photos
Title, description, category, item specifics and condition notes, written from your photos in the Strooply iPhone and Android app, on every plan.
Photograph an item and Strooply drafts the title, description, category, item specifics and a shipping estimate. You review it, then publish to eBay from the app.
Title, description, category, item specifics and condition notes, written from your photos in the Strooply iPhone and Android app, on every plan.
Weight and box size matched to the boxes you saved, with USPS, UPS and FedEx rate estimates.
Every field is editable. Strooply publishes through eBay's API with your business policies, only after you confirm.
Strooply uses Google Gemini to read your photos. Each item below is a draft for you to check and change.
About the price suggestion: Strooply shows real eBay listings to compare, plus an AI estimate. The suggested price comes from those market numbers and is a starting point; you set the price. A confidence label (high, medium, low or unknown) reflects how many comparable listings were found: five or more, two to four, one, or none.
This is our own example item. These are the five photos that went into the app, and the draft fields the app produced from them. We did not edit the draft. It is one example, not typical results: how well a draft turns out depends on the item and on how clear the photos are.

| Field | What the draft showed |
|---|---|
| Listing photos | 5 of 24 allowed |
| Title (65 of 80 characters) | 1900 Robinson Crusoe Daniel Defoe Harper & Brothers Rhead Edition |
| eBay category | Antiquarian & Collectible |
| Condition | Good |
The title uses details that are printed on the item itself: the author and title on the cover, Decorations by the Brothers Rhead on the spine, and Copyright, 1900 on the copyright page. You can edit every field, and nothing publishes to eBay until you confirm.
Photograph it, review the draft, then publish. Get the app
Add up to 24 photos per listing, the same number eBay allows.[2] Identification reads the first 5, so put the clearest shots first, including any label or model number.
Type notes about the item. If you note a flaw, the draft changes its wording: an item with a stated defect gets language such as "For parts" or "Untested", and the draft will not call it "Complete", "Sealed" or "NIB".
A caption under the AI controls says the content is AI-generated and to review it before publishing. Edit anything. You can also redraft the description or fill in missing item specifics from your photos, on every plan.
Strooply publishes through eBay's API with your business policies, only after you confirm.
Strooply tracks your cost and shows profit after fees and shipping labels. The eBay fee calculator shows how fees work out before you list.
eBay has its own AI listing tools. This table uses only what eBay's pages say, checked October 21, 2026; where a page is silent we say so.
| Topic | Strooply | eBay's AI listing tools |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | In the Strooply iPhone and Android app | A photo-first flow in the eBay app, announced for the US, UK and Germany for private sellers with business sellers planned[3]. Bulk "Multiple listings from photos" in Seller Hub[4] |
| Item specifics | Required plus up to 20 recommended, compared with up to 10 comparable listings | eBay says it prefills specifics when it is confident there is a match[4] |
| Shipping | Matches a box from your saved boxes and estimates USPS, UPS and FedEx rates | Not described on the pages we reviewed, beyond a 2023 plan for the photo version to suggest a shipping cost[5] |
| After the sale | Tracks your cost and net profit | Not described on the pages we reviewed |
| Cost and volume | Monthly publishes by plan: 5 on Free, 100 on Starter, 250 on Pro, 1k on Team | The pages we reviewed state no separate charge for the tool |
The pages we reviewed state no separate charge for eBay's tools, while Strooply caps monthly publishes by plan, so weigh that if you list in large volume. Strooply is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.
A general chat assistant writes text from what you tell it. It does not know the item specifics eBay requires for your category, and it does not publish the listing for you. Many sellers use one for wording help and an eBay-focused app for the listing itself. See Strooply vs general AI assistants.
AI drafts are included on every plan, and there is no separate AI draft cap. Lookups and publishes are limited per month by plan:
Redrafting a description and filling missing item specifics from photos are on every plan. For the full workflow, read how Strooply works.
A draft from photos is a first pass, not a verified record. The AI can misidentify a lookalike, cannot see a flaw you did not photograph, and cannot confirm that an item works. We found no accuracy rate for AI listing tools published by eBay or by independent testers, so check each field against the item in your hands. The eBay listing checklist covers the rest of a listing, and you stay responsible for what the listing says.
Yes. eBay describes a photo-first flow in its app and a bulk "Multiple listings from photos" tool in Seller Hub.[3][4] The table above shows where the two differ, based on eBay's pages as of October 21, 2026.
There is a free plan, and AI drafts are included on every plan. Lookups and publishes are limited per month by plan, as listed above.
No. You review the draft and confirm before anything goes live on eBay.
We have no accuracy rate to quote, and we found none published by eBay or independent testers. The AI can be wrong, so check the title, category, item specifics and condition notes against the item before you publish.
You can use a chat assistant for wording. It writes from what you tell it and does not publish to eBay or know your category's required item specifics. See the AI assistants comparison.
80 characters, according to eBay.[1] Strooply's draft never goes over that.
No. You pick the condition. The draft writes condition notes from your photos and what you tell it.
Drafting is in the Strooply iPhone and Android app.
Strooply is an app for eBay resellers that identifies items from photos, shows live comps and sold-price estimates, drafts eBay listings for your review, and tracks costs and profit.
